Smart Choice Banking.
F&M has been proud to serve our customers and the communities we call home since 1906. We have always believed that the best financial partner is one that invests in its communities, grows alongside our neighbors, and continues to evolve to deliver exceptional service and care.
On January 1, 2026, F&M Bank and Volunteer Bank officially unified under one charter as Lawrence Bank—bringing together our shared strengths to better serve the communities we call home. While each bank continues to operate under its trusted name and brand, this alignment reflects years of shared ownership and a long-standing commitment to relationship-focused banking and meaningful community impact.
As part of that commitment, we are pleased to bring you an upgraded system—designed to provide greater convenience, enhanced security, and improved efficiency. This upgrade is enabled by our systems integration with Volunteer—delivering expanded branch access and a more connected, flexible banking experience, so you can bank seamlessly at any F&M or Volunteer branch location.
We are dedicated to making this transition as smooth as possible. The information provided here, along with the accompanying guide, will walk you through what to expect, and our team remains ready to assist you at every step.
