Remote Deposit Capture

Our Remote Deposit Capture Service enables a business customer to scan checks from their office to the bank for deposit to their account. This feature will save you many trips to the bank and help you get your business earning more efficiently.

  • Operating System - Microsoft Windows 10 or 11
  • Disk Space - 2 GB free (minimum)
  • Processor - 2.0 GHz processor (minimum) - Dual Core or higher recommended
  • USB 2.0 port (minimum, for scanner)

RDC Fees

  • $100 Annual Scanner Fee
  • $30 RDC Monthly Service Fee

Night Depository Services

F&M Bank provides business customers with the opportunity to make deposits 7 days a week, 24 hours a day with our Night Depository Service. This convenient service provides a secure place to put deposits after regular banking hours in Tennessee.

Beneficial Ownership

Beneficial Ownership Requirements for Legal Entity Customers

Your business relationship is important to us. Our goal is to make the business account-opening process an efficient and enjoyable experience for you. Effective May 11, 2018, all banks will be subject to new rules under the Bank Secrecy Act that will aid the government in the fight against crimes to evade financial measures designed to combat terrorism and other national security threats.

EACH time an account is opened for a covered Legal Entity, we will be required to ask you for identifying information (name, address, date of birth, social security number), as well as identification documentation for:

  • EACH individual that has 25% or more Beneficial Ownership in the Legal Entity; and,
  • ONE individual that has Significant Managerial Control of the Legal Entity.

If you are opening an account on behalf of a Legal Entity, you will be required to provide appropriate documentation and to certify that this information is true and accurate to the best of your knowledge.

In order to make this process as efficient as possible, we suggest that you obtain the above, bulleted information, along with a copy of the current Driver’s License for EACH identified individual. If your business will frequently be opening new deposit accounts/loans, please keep this information current and available to present EACH time you come in to establish a new account.

What You Need to Know About Beneficial Ownership

  • The new regulation impacts all legal entities opening or maintaining accounts at any financial institution.
  • Legal entities will need to identify and attest to all ultimate beneficial owner(s) that meet specific requirements as well as a controlling person (e.g., Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Managing Member, General Partner, President, Vice President or Treasurer).
  • F&M Bank will collect information regarding the ultimate beneficial owner(s) and control person of legal entities whether or not they have a personal relationship with the financial institution.
